Mord an Jungen: Zwei Ranger verhaftet
Narathiwat - Zwei Ranger wurden verhaftet, weil sie am 3. Februar in Narathiwat drei Jungen ermordet haben sollen. Nach einem dritten Ranger wird gefahndet.Der Gouverneur von Narathiwat, Natthapong Sirichana, gab auf einer Pressekonferenz am 3. März bekannt, dass zwei Ranger im Alter von 21 und 25 Jahren verhaftet wurden, die den Mord an den drei Jungen gestanden.

Phuket - Bislang unbekannte Täter haben am vergangenen Sonntag versucht einen Geldautomaten der Siam Commercial Bank (SCB) aufzubrechen, sind aber in ihrem Unterfangen gescheitert.
Ein Mitarbeiter der SCB-Bank hatte die Polizei alarmiert, als er den Geldautomaten auf der Sakdidet Road vor einem 7-Eleven-Shop überprüfen wollte. Den Dieben ist es zwar gelungen die Abdeckung des Geldauswurfs zu entfernen, aber nicht den Geldschrank zu knacken. Das Geld wurde vom Mitarbeiter in die Bank transportiert....(Wochenblitz)
Phuket - Polizeibeamte konnten in der vergangenen Nacht zwei Diebe festnehmen, die in Patong einer Ausländerin die Handtasche entrissen. Ein Augenzeuge hatte die Polizei gegen Mitternacht über den Vorfall informiert.
Anhand einer Beschreibung der Täter waren die Beamten in der Lage die Verdächtigen ausfindig zu machen. Die beiden Diebe versuchten vergeblich mit ihrem Motorrad zu flüchten. Auf der Phra Baramee Road ließen sie ihr Motorrad stehen und gingen zu Fuß weiter....(Wochenblitz)
